Clone a proposal

Select Clone Risk from the Risk Summary page. You may Clone any risk version you have in your account. 

When you Clone a risk proposal, you copy all the information entered in the initial application only for you to quote as is, or to modify.

You may seek to Clone a proposal for any number of reasons including, for example:

• renewing a risk for the same applicant
• duplicating the risk details entered 
• reissuing a risk proposal you have marked as Not Taken Up (NTU)
• reissuing a risk proposal Underwriters have declined to quote

Quick tip! When you Clone a proposal a fresh new proposal is created with its own unique Risk ID. If you Clone a proposal that was once in SAU, the new proposal will not copy Notes, Risk History, etc.
