Bind your first quote

All risks that are ready to be bound are stored for easy access under the Dashboard tile Quoted Risks or SAU Quoted Risks.

Once quoted, you will be able to view pricing immediately and have the option to bind the risk from the Quote tab found on your Risk Summary page. Notice that you now have fewer tabs across the top of your screen.

In order to bind a risk, you will need to confirm commissions and taxes; do this under the Commissions and Taxes tab found on the Risk Summary page.

As soon as you bind the risk, your account is updated to include the relevant insurance documentation. As part of the risk file you will find:

  • your invoice for payment under the quote tab of the bound risk. You must produce an invoice for your client and issue payment by the payment due date.
  • the insured's Certificate of Insurance under the summary tab of the bound risk
Quick tip! The commissions and taxes you commit to upon binding should not be changed under any amendments to the bound risk. It is recommended that you confirm commissions and taxes upon presenting the quote to your client for review.
