New Web Proposals to Submit tile
This Dashboard tile holds all Web Proposals that have been pushed into your account for review and quotation from a web link you created and embedded into an online format (e.g.: email, website, etc.)
When you open a new Web Proposal, you will land on the Risk Summary page. Review the accuracy and completeness of the information included; to do so, expand each section on this page or use the Navigation tabs at the top of the page to move through each section. Once you are satisfied with the information provided, click Generate Quote from the Risk Summary page to produce a rate and a Quote Document.
You have the option to email any quote you generate to your client from within your account.
Quick tip! It is encouraged that you confirm all commissions and taxes prior to emailing the quote. This helps ensure accuracy of the quote and will expedite the binding process as you must confirm this information prior to binding and these should not be changed through amendment after binding a risk.
Did you leave before generating a quote?
The risk will move to a new tile after you open it. You will be able to quickly find the risk under the Dashboard tile Proposals to be Completed.
Did you leave after generating a quote?
If you leave the risk and come searching for it again after you have quoted it, you will be able to quickly find the risk under the Dashboard tile Quoted Risks.
What it means when the risk is not 'rated'
Risks that do not receive a rate (price/quote) automatically are pushed through Special Acceptance Underwriting (SAU) until rated by the Underwriter and accepted by you. In cases where Underwriters require more information from you, you will need to:
- search for the risk under the Dashboard tile SAU Proposals in Negotiation
- view Underwriter Notes under the Notes tab
- choose Modify from the Risk Summary Page to unlock the risk and add details requested by Underwriters
- choose Generate Quote to push the risk back to Underwriters for rating
