Principal broker

As a Principal Broker you are managing the company account and can add users to help administer your company’s business.

Principal Brokers:

  • have oversight to total account activity across the Company
  • are accountable for all user activity
  • can perform all of the same activities as a colleague holding a broker role 
  • can manage payment in addition to colleagues holding an accounts role
  • can reassign risks from one broker account to another
  • can disable/enable user accounts
  • can reset user passwords from within the company
  • can add users to the Company account and modify user information
  • in cases where the insurer has authorized you to sell and distribute more than one product, Principal Brokers will assign which products each broker user can sell/distribute
Quick tip! There could be more than one Principal Broker; if there is, this is generally a colleague you entrust to support as back up to you as they will have the same authority as you.
