How can I avoid an SAU?

The need for SAU is determined by the risk details provided. A risk will go to SAU when a specific risk detail entered requires Underwriter review. You have authority to quote and bind only those risks that meet select parameters pre-determined by Underwriters.

Notwithstanding the above, incomplete requests will trigger an immediate SAU. The easiest way to avoid an SAU is to ensure the proposal request is complete and accurate. Unanswered questions can be easily avoided by undertaking a review of each section of the application under the Risk Summary page or by using the Navigation tabs across the top of your page.
